Inspired by Julian of Norwich’s writings: “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.” It was important to us to end our club this year with hope. To wrap up our season of colours with the thing that kept us going, the thing that was the thread connecting everything we have done this year, and to close the circle much where we began it, in colours that make both of us feel the most ourselves—Pink for Jess, Purple for Jaden, and Green for both of us. Where ideas of love and grief started the club, it is hope that is our wish and our prayer for the world, and that completes our wheel. What is hope if not love under a different name?
